my thoughts

Tsk.

I've just read the blog of a certain someone.

I can only think of one phrase to describe it: "Cannot make it loh."

Why one who is 20 odd years of age still thinks like one who is a teenager?

Ok, I'm sorry, a teenage is deemed too mature for the person in question. Perhaps a child, who has not developed thinking abilities yet!

I had always thought that a teacher or mentor is very important in developing one's character.

How true it is!

One can note the resemblance to that someone's mentor just by observing the actions - they are so similar that it's very disturbing. It's even more disturbing that they are being looked up to by bright innocent eyes who think the world of them.

How can someone even think of imposing thoughts like this onto his/her students?

Tsk.

Boredom, EPL

I'm now in my week of off.

I'm feeling so bored now that I think I will head back to the office later in the afternoon to settle some things and to practice. I'm so out of practice and my lesson is next week. Well, things are beginning to look better for me. My reed slump period seems to be over and things can only get better once my machines arrive! I'm so looking forward to it!

Hurray! The new Premier League season finally started! Now I have something to do at home on Saturday nights. And yeah, Man U won! Ok, the second goal was really lucky, but thanks Rooney; you won me a small sum!

AAFT, Yibin, NDP

I am back!

Let's see what had happened since my last post.

AAFT

Acronym for Alternate Aerobic Fitness Test. It's the same as your normal NAFA test only that they replace the 2.4km run with a 8km cycle or 1km swim(not very sure about the swimming distance).

Anyway!

For any nincompoop who thinks that cycling is easier that running, YOU'RE WRONG!

Give me running any day! I ensure you that running 2.4km is much easier than cycling 8km uphill! (Stationary bike with added resistance)

Yibin's Birthday Dinner

We went to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before going for dinner at Ku Shin Bo.

One thing to say about the movie.

Just go watch it, don't ask so much.

Another thing to say about dinner.

Good!

Great Singapore Workout

How many of you actually remember how the workout goes?

I was on a bus going past a park the other day when I saw a group of aunties doing the workout!

I haven't seen anyone done that for years by now!

NDP 2005

My first NDP at the Padang.

Anyway, I wasn't performing on the actual day. I was a reserve and performed for the Preview.

So on the National Day, Terence and I went in search for higher grounds in our holding area, the old Supreme Court.

And viola! We found a perch on the top floor! Although it was very crowded and supposing "out-of-bound" to us, we went in and had quite a good view of the parade. We couldn't stay for the show segment as we had to go off first to avoid congestion. I haven't seen NDP fireworks for 3 years already!

Darn.

Well at least I get to relax for the next 10 odd days!
