Technology

I'm back to blog!

I shall not keep my faithful readers (if any) waiting for too long!

Technology is really moving.

I still remember the times when people bring along huge brick-sized and weight walkman. It soon evolved into discmans which could double as discuses for the Olympics.

With the introduction of mp3, the trendy crowd changed to carrying ipods around. Me? I have my big, heavy Zen touch.

Oh! Guess what? Handphones had evolved too! From the huge water bottles to the light speed 3G today, they had gone a long way! But which genius came out with the idea that a handphone should double as an mp3 hi-fi set?

I was on the train the other day and this nincompoop has to stand in front of me and demonstrate that he has the latest state-of-the-arts handphone which is capable of playing songs at an audible level for the listening displeasure of anyone in a 10 metres radius.

I was so annoyed, not only at his indiscretion, but at his rather distasteful choice of music. I'm sure all of us had heard enough of how much mouse love eating big rice.

I wonder how the general population will feel if I do the same, playing music from Mahler on my phone?
