I'm tired after this long day. There was full band the whole day with Frank Ticheli. Well, I think he's quite a nice guy who is able to deliver. Somehow the Central Band sounds quite good under his baton. So, people who are attending the In Harmony Concert this coming Friday, expect a good concert! I really hope my oboe doesn't cock up on me this Friday. I've just replaced a strip of cork on my key. One important thing to note: It's the very first concert that I'm playing on my own reeds. Hopefully my reeds don't cock up on me too! My XL will be coming next week! So exciting! Za: It seems that it will be hard to get a separate place to practice. Instruments are a problem too. Oh well, just don't back off yet. WE have a right to be there! PS. People who are interested in attending this Friday's concert may do so by just going there. It's at Singapore Conference Hall at 1930 hrs. Although tickets are technically all reserved, bear in mind that all the concerts I've played there so far were never full house (some people just reserve and don't show up).
