NE Show

Yesterday's NDP rehearsal was really the longest rehearsal I've attended in a long time!
 
Technically we worked from 9 am in the morning till we booked out at1.30am at night. Man, it was really tiring. It took so long that I actually finished Deception Point by Dan Brown while waiting for the bus to come!
 
The rehearsal itself actually went by without any major hiccup. What happened was that the rehearsal yesterday was meant for Primary 5 students from all around Singapore. There were over 50 000 of them who attended. Buses were deployed to fetch all of them back to school. Now, this is there the problem came in. Somehow, this year the boarding of the buses were much slower as compared to previous years. I don't know if this is a first or not, but last year we were stranded for maybe an hour plus not like 5 HOURS like last night!
 
Well, at least it wasn't really that bad for me. The kids were really damn poor things, having to stand there for so long. Hopefully the committee can do a better job next year. I'm sure they would have gotten quite a mouthful from waiting parents at the school.
 
*PS. Deception Point was quite interesting. Somehow I felt that the writing structure was suspiciously similar to The Dan Vinci Code. Brown misleads you to think that the overall mastermind is someone when it's actually another person. 7.8/10.
